What are the classes like?
All lessons taught are conversation-based.
You will start with learning basic grammar and basic conversation skills.
As you advance, more complex grammars are taught and more vocabulary will be introduced.
Is it available in my area?
The lessons are all online.
However, if you have a group of at least seven people in your area who would like to take a live in-person class together, we can set up a Live Tagalog Weekend Boot Camp in your city. Group pricing will vary.
After I sign up online via PayPal, how soon can I start?
You can start as soon as the same day or any day you want!
What times are lessons scheduled?
Lessons are once, twice, or three times a week during times that are based on your availability.
Because we have students in different countries and time zones, we work 24 hours a day.
What if I have to cancel a lesson?
You can cancel a lesson and reschedule to make up the class within three days of missing it.
Lessons cannot be made up after three days from cancellation. No-shows forfeit that lesson missed.
How long are the lessons?
Online lessons are between 30 mins to an hour depending on the instruction and activity for the session.
I can understand some Tagalog, but I cannot speak it. How do I start the program?
Many students are in this same situation. We have found that speaking and thinking in Tagalog is different from understanding it. We will assess your level and start you with appropriate materials to work with.
You will likely grasp the concepts fairly quickly and therefore will be able to focus on practicing your conversation skills.
Is there a study group in my area?
Study groups also get together in different cities. Please join the Facebook group to start or join one.
I want to have a live Tagalog group class in my area. How can I do that?
Group Classes are available when there are at least 7 people ready to take the class together.
We will then schedule your Live Tagalog Weekend Boot Camp.
